As with so many modern love stories, we met online. After a few days of clever texting, he suggested we meet. A sweet coffee date turned into drinks across the street, and we made plans to see each other again. The next few weeks were filled with easy get-togethers. Working only 4 blocks away from each other, we met several times a week for casual lunches and some stolen kisses in alleyways. After a couple months, we decided to make our relationship exclusive and met each other's families soon after.

At the center of our relationship is a 7-year-old mongrel named Shirley. Though we tried in every way to include our sweet girl in the wedding festivities, there just wasn't a way to make it work. So while we are celebrating with you, she will be safely corralled in her hotel suite, but we will miss her goofiness and total lack of boundaries! And maybe, if she behaves, she'll make a brief appearance.
