Robert E. Lee Hotel

This adorable hotel in downtown Lexington is where we'll be staying, and we hope as many of you as possible too. This is where the Pre-Wedding Yoga, Rehearsal Dinner, Welcome Reception, and After Party will be (as well as right across the street from the Morning After Brunch restaurant). They have a great terrace outside and restaurant/bar on the second floor. The hotel also has free parking where you can leave your car for the weekend (transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue), as well as complimentary breakfast. The hotel is in the heart of downtown Lexington, with great bars, shopping, and coffee shops all in walking distance! You must call in order to make a reservation with the discounted room price, and make sure to mention that you're booking for the Guthrie/Griffis wedding. Blocked room prices are available until May 30, 2018.

Hampton Inn Lexington-Historic District

The Hampton Inn is an alternative block of hotel rooms reserved for our wedding. This hotel is a short drive to the Robert E Lee hotel, where transportation is provided to/from the wedding venue. We're hoping that as many guests as possible stay with us at the Robert E Lee hotel, but this is a great alternative with some period decor and a complimentary breakfast :)

The Georges

If you're looking for some privacy or extra-special accommodations, The Georges is a stunning little inn! Also in the heart of downtown Lexington, this hotel is only about a block from the Robert E Lee hotel, which we'll be staying at and which will be hosting most wedding festivities. We don't have a room block here as they only have a few rooms, but this inn comes highly recommended!

Flight

Dulles International Airport OR Ronald Reagan National Airport

Virginia has several airports, and Dulles is the closest to the bride and groom's house. If you're coming early and want to hang out with us for a few days prior to or after the wedding, this might be the best place to fly into. Reagan airport is the farthest from the venue, but close to the bride and groom, and even closer to the city of Washington, DC. If you're planning on turning our wedding weekend into a vacation and want to spend time in the city, this is likely the best (and cheapest) airport to fly into.

Richmond International Airport

The parents of both the bride and groom live in Richmond. The Richmond airport is slightly closer to the venue, about 2.5 hours from the wedding venue and hotel. Dulles tends to be cheaper than Richmond, though booking enough in advance might yield similar prices.

Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport

This is the smallest but closest airport to the venue and town of Lexington (about an hour away). Note that this is a regional airport, not an international one!

Shuttle

A shuttle will pick be available for guests at 4:15 in front of the Robert E Lee hotel, for a safe and worry-free bus ride to the wedding venue. The shuttle will leave promptly at 4:15 pm, and will be returning to bring guests back at 10:30pm.
