Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

YES! We'd love for ALL of our guests to stay with us at the Robert E Lee Hotel (this is where all the fun pre- and post-wedding activities will be!), but we've blocked additional rooms at the Hampton Inn in Historic Lexington as well. See the 'Travel' section of the site for additional information.

Are there any other wedding-related festivities?

Answer

YES! We want to spend as much time as possible with all of you, so we've planned a 'Welcome Reception' on Friday night after the rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding yoga on Saturday morning for anyone interested, and a morning-after brunch on Sunday! See the Schedule section of the site for additional information!

Where is the ceremony/reception taking place?

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception space will be at the Irvine Estate in Lexington, VA 455 Lonesome Dove Trail Lexington, VA 24450 http://www.housemountaininn.com/

What time should we be there?

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m on June 30. We kindly ask guests to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to grab a seat and start mingling 🙂

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. However, we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Of course! We're not planning an 'unplugged ceremony'; however, we're so in love with our photographer and know she'll take good care of all of us. So feel free to snap away, just make sure to stay out of her way! :)

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing transportation to and from the Robert E Lee hotel. Please see the Travel/Accommodations section of the site for additional information.

What's the dress code?

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Will there be dancing & entertainment?

Um, have you MET us?? Of course we will have dancing. We have arranged for a DJ that will help you dance your tush off. This ain’t no Footloose.
