Attending the hike is highly, highly encouraged! If you cannot join the hike, you can still join us at the lodge for the ceremony! You can arrive at the lodge on Thursday if you have high clearance 4wd, or we can pick you up on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning from a 2wd accessible parking lot that is 2 miles from the lodge. There is no cell service on the hike or at the lodge, so this needs to be planned out in advance. Access to the lodge is by capable 4x4 only, the road is rough and there are a lot of stream crossings so a jeep or similar type vehicle is necessary if you plan on driving all the way to the lodge.
