Forrest & Greta's Love Story

Love in the time of COVID.

In March of 2020, the world shut down, and Greta and Forrest found themselves perusing Hinge to pass the time. As fate would have it, they fell in love, but whenever Forrest's Grandma Barb asks them how they met, they just say that they "met at a movie" because the one time they were honest, she said that their internet meet-cute "didn't do much for her." After spending months zoom-dating, they finally had the chance to spend a weekend together at Forrest's family cabin. They cooked together, played cribbage, went boating, watched shows, walked the woods, and settled into the rhythm of peaceful connection that underscores their love to this day. Over the next five years they moved in together, co-parented a frog named Hubert, explored a deep love of charcuterie boards, rescued their perfect dog, Juniper, bought a house, traversed the world, and fell asleep each night to thunderstorm sounds. On their bonkers MEA trip to Rome, Greta called "dibs" on not proposing first over artichokes and sparkling wine in the Jewish Quarter. Forrest agreed to her terms and quietly started gathering data about rings and proposals with the help of Tess. After defeating every barrier thrown their way: jewelers who ghosted them, Greta getting norovirus, and Juniper's almost-exit from the world, Forrest proposed with misty eyes in the quiet front room of the family cabin, the very same place where their romance began. They can't wait to celebrate that "yes" with all of you.
