COVID Update - 1/15/2022

Hi friends & family, We’re very happy to share that we are moving forward with our wedding with all of you welcome to celebrate with us on our big day. Below are the details of some very strict COVID safety strategies that we are implementing in order to protect everyone’s health & safety. This has been a heartbreaking & agonizing process for us both & we hope everyone will understand how difficult these choices are to make. We’re giving up some of our original vision for our wedding & know we can’t please everyone. Some of you may think these requirements are overkill & others may not be comfortable attending any events of this size. We fully understand & support both sides. Requirements for attendees are strict so please plan ahead as needed. There’s no need to send us any documentation now. In the next month we will provide contact information for the planner who will collect and validate vaccination cards and testing requirements. Whatever you decide, we support your decision 100%. If you have already RSVP’d and need to change it, please contact us. Either way, please RSVP by February 11th. If you wish to RSVP online, you can do that by clicking the RSVP tab above. We appreciate you hanging with us as we navigate this rapidly changing world and we can’t wait to finally be married! Love you all, Greg & Kate

We will be maximizing the space between tables Vaccination - Full vaccination is required (2 doses of mRNA vaccines or 1 J&J dose) by March 11th - Booster doses are required by March 11th if your second dose was more than 6 months prior to March 26th - One exception for vaccination is being made for a 3-person family unit. They will be isolating for 5 days prior to the wedding with daily testing. These are our close family members & no other exceptions will be made Testing Each person must provide the following: - A negative PCR result from a test taken March 23rd or 24th (no rapid PCR tests) - A negative antigen test on the morning of March 26th (provided at Embassy Suites) - If you had COVID within 90 days of our wedding, you may skip the PCR test and instead need to provide negative at-home antigen results from March 24th and 25th Masks - KN95 masks will be provided and are recommended but not required - Vendors, staff and our 3 unvaccinated guests will be required to wear KN95s unless actively eating or drinking

How We Met

04.29.2018 - Beverly Hills

Greg & Kate met for the first time at Urth Cafe in Beverly Hills, CA. Unfortunately, Greg was on his final week of a Whole30 eating plan so he embarrassingly was limited to drinking herbal tea. He strongly suggested Kate order a dessert but was horrified when she choose an oatmeal raisin cookie. Despite this 'bumpy' start, they had a fantastic 2 hour conversation and went on their first official date the following weekend. Since Kate was traveling for work each week, they took every opportunity to spend time together when she was in LA. Over the next many months they learned more about each other, had deep conversations, traveled together, and fell in love.

The Proposal

12.31.2019 - Santa Barbara

Just before sunset on New Years Eve, Greg convinced Kate to get dressed up to take some pictures on the bluffs at their hotel in Santa Barbara. Somehow, Greg had orchestrated the proposal moment without Kate having any idea it was about to happen. Kate was shocked when, instead of posing for pictures Greg took her hands and spoke to her about all the things he loves about her, the amazing aspects of their relationship, and how he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He got down on one knee, asked her to marry him, and Kate said "yes" through happy tears. They spent the rest of the night celebrating their love & ringing in the new year.
