Abbot's Thrift
This is our favorite thrift store EVER. We shop here on the regular. Several pieces of our household are from Abbot's, and we love the folks here!
Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, Rincon Parking Lot
OK so these trees are RAD. We came here on our very first trip up to the Santa Cruz Mountains, once I knew I was moving to Boulder Creek. We fell in love with these trees. And the park is right across the street from the wedding site!
Bigfoot Discovery Museum
Um.... it's a Bigfoot Museum. Do we need to say more?
Ristorante Casa Nostra
Our favorite restaurant. So eat here. You can sit outside in the "Tap Room" and bring your friendly dog, and they have live music. Kids LOVE getting up and dancing to the music, and the food is AMAZING. Plus, great service, an incredible beer / wine selection, and beautiful Redwoods. Our favorite place to eat!!
Coffee Nine

Santa Cruz Boardwalk
The Boardwalk! Food, games, ferris wheel, carnival rides.... and the beach. It smells like a Boardwalk should smell. Salt and sand and sunscreen and popcorn and cotton candy.
Roaring Camp Railroad
It's a steam train! Through the Redwoods! I mean, how cool is that? Also... on our Wedding Weekend, they will have GREAT TRAIN ROBBERIES!!! "Great Train Robberies JUNE 17 & SEPTEMBER 1 - 3 Witness shootouts between famed lawmen and notorious outlaws from the 1880’s aboard the Redwood Forest Train to Bear Mountain. See why the West was wild! The train robbery will occur on all RC Steam Train departures. Those “sensitive to noise” may want to consider our SCBT train to the beach."
Big Basin Redwoods State Park
Gorgeous walking trails through extraordinary trees. Also, camping! Also, a BIRD WALK happening the day after the wedding! "Every 1st, 3rd, & 5th Sunday 3:00pm Take a leisurely stroll down the McCoy Trail to view and learn about some of the 370 species of birds that live or stop by this Reserve on their yearly migration. Walks begin at the Visitor Center. Bring binoculars if you have them. All ages welcome. No reservations required. FREE!"
Tyrolean Inn Restaurant
This place is a HOOT!!! They have German food and a live accordion player nightly. And the SCHNITZEL!!!
Boulder Creek Pizza & Pub
We have exactly one pizza joint in town. And that's all we need - cuz it's da bomb. Yummy pies and good salads and delicious bred-knot-things with creamy pesto dipping sauce.... Mmmm....
Marianne's Ice Cream
SO GOOD. Local ice cream, shakes, sundaes, etc. They only take cash, so have some of that folding money on hand when you go!
