Clear and a high of 65, BRING A WRAP!
In the middle of a field of other rocks, obviously. Or under the spare housekey.
I'm so glad you asked! It is: floccinaucinihilipilifilication.
Jeff refuses to give you the definition. He says look it up in the damn Oxford English Dictionary, dammit.
We are so excited to be visiting an old friend of Laura's from the early Dance Factory days, who has purchased a gorgeous Bed and Breakfast in Leavensworth WA. She had generously gifted us with an incredible deal for 4 nights in her stunning B and B, and we are taking her up on the offer! We can't WAIT!
¿dónde está el baño?
He doesn't have one.
Whatever makes you feel magical, inspired, whimsical, beautiful, smart, sassy, titillated, thrilling, dashing, suave, naughty, rustic, vintage, modern, festive, and comfortable. Be as fancy or as unfettered as your whim suits. We will be outdoors, which may be warm in early September, and may also become chilly in the shade and once the sun sets. Bring a wrap. Bring a layer. Bring a friend to snuggle with. Bring a fan. Bring a blankie. Wear shoes which are comfortable to walk on grass, dirt, cobblestone, brick, and hot lava. We might be kidding about the lava. Then again, we might not. We're not telling.
Not really. I mean, how do you keep the change from falling out of your pockets?
Yes.
We recommend a walk through Henry Cowell State Park Redwoods. Or a shopping excursion at Abbott's Thrift. Or a visit to the Bigfoot Museum. Or a tostada at the local taqueria. Or an ice cream cone at Rite-Aid, but you can do that at home, so really, there is no point in doing it here, other than just to say you did. I mean, mint chip and double chocolate malted crunch are always good. Duh.
Yep.
Charlie and Lily. Charles and Lillian when they're being formal.

OK, so here's the deal. We live in the mountains. If you don't like mountain driving, you probably wanna stay in Scotts Valley or Santa Cruz. The wedding venue is only 6 miles from Santa Cruz and requires very little mountain driving. If you want to be directly between us (Boulder Creek) and the wedding (Felton) we reccommend the Quality Inn and Suites in Ben Lomond. Ben Lomond is the middle of our little San Lorenzo Valley community. It's 10 minutes to our house, and 10 to the wedding. Still only a wee bit of mountainous terrain to traverse. We also have a cute little Inn and Cottages here in BC, called the Merrybrook Lodge, so you can stay in town if you like!
He didn't. He sort of tricked Laura into proposing to him.
Cake, please.
9:30. And yes. Otherwise it would be a peninsula.
No. But if you wanna wear your clown suit, be our guest! Seriously - wear whatever you want. Be comfortable. If that means period attire, rock on. If that means Tiki-wear, sweet. If that means hoopskirts and corsets, well, who are we to naysay you? If that means you wanna preview your Gatsby Duds for the following weekend, we toast your natty attire. If that means sporting a Browncoat, then, by my pretty floral bonnet, we will not end you. If that means your comfy fleece Chewbacca Onesie, we say uuh uughguughhhghghghhhgh uughghhhgh huurh.
There will be beer, wine, and cider. If you want something additional, fee free to smuggle in a flask (you don't really need to smuggle it - there won't be any security goons at the gate) or wander over to the bar next door.
San Jose Mineta Airport is your best bet for flying in. SFO and Oakland are a couple hours away. San Jose is like an hour.
No. You also are not welcome to bring your cat, hamster, turtle, owl, or toad. Domesticated Dragons are fine, as long as they are fire-trained.
That would be the extraordinary Tanya Anguita of Frogsong Photography! Yeah, she's amazing. She is also one of Laura's closest and dearest friends, and will be standing up with the couple as one of Laura's Women of Honor.
Go up to the top of the page and click on "registry." Then read about our unorthodox wedding registry idea. There is also an Amazon registry link if you like that better!
Sure did! The brilliant Mr Pete Overstreet designed and hand drew our invitation, and we agree it is the most amazing wedding invitation we've ever seen as well! He is also one of Laura's Bridesmen.
Yes. You do. And because you do, you get a special prize. Once at the wedding, find the Tiny Chicken. Once you find the Tiny Chicken, you will know the Secret Password. Then just give the Secret Password to The Person Wearing The Secret Tiny Chicken Password item, which you will learn upon finding the Tiny Chicken. Tell no one else about the Tiny Chicken. If they didn't read the FAQs, they DON'T GET THE PRIZE.
