We're so excited to share our favorite Minneapolis & St. Paul local gems!
Alma Provisions

Alma Provisions

812 West 46th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55419
, (612) 379-4909

Great casual brunch or lunch. Seat yourself and scan the QR code to order! Kelly loves the baked egg strata for her morning meal. Greg's morning favorite is the Corner Store breakfast sandwich. Either pairs well with a side of the crispy smashed potatoes.

Smith Coffee & Cafe

Smith Coffee & Cafe

8107 Eden Prairie Road, Eden Prairie, MN 55347
, (952) 250-7208

Get breakfast or brunch in a cafe nestled within the historic Smith Douglas More house. Eden Prairie is a 20 minute drive southwest of the twin cities. Get there early, parking fills up fast!

Momo cafe

Momo cafe

3035 Central Avenue Northeast, Minneapolis, MN 55418
, (612) 46-34834

We love their lattes and cold brew! Unbeatable quality, and prices that make you feel like it's still pre-COVID. There's a solid chance you'll see Kelly when you walk in to this cafe, it's her home away from home.

Chimborazo

Chimborazo

2851 Central Avenue Northeast, Minneapolis, MN 55418
, (612) 788-1328

We love their traditional food from Ecuador and the Andean Highlands! Come as you are. Very casual, warm, and welcoming. Does not accept reservations, but there is rarely a wait. Start with an empanada and one of their rotating house-made refreshments. Their chaulafan (Ecuadorian fried rice) is truly unique and delicious, split that or be ready for leftovers.

Kramarczuk's Sausage Co. Inc.

Kramarczuk's Sausage Co. Inc.

215 East Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55414
, (612) 379-3018

Ukranian food that has been around since 1954. Kramarczuk's won the 2013 America's Classic award from the James Beard Foundation. Casual, cafeteria style service. Get anything on the menu, as long as you get some pierogis on the side. You gotta get the pierogis. Card only, cash not accepted.

Moscow on the Hill

Moscow on the Hill

371 Selby Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55102
, (651) 291-1236

Open for brunch, lunch, or dinner. This staple of St. Paul's Cathedral Hill neighborhood offers outstanding Russian and eastern European cuisine. They distill and infuse their own vodkas, and use them to craft excellent cocktails for those with curious tastebuds. Greg recommends the Bloody Mary that they make with their horseradish infused vodka. Za vashe zdrovie!

The Lexington

The Lexington

1096 Grand Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55105
, (651) 289-4990

An upscale and traditional dining experience in a timeless 90 year old establishment. Make reservations, then don your business casual attire for a peerless evening experience.

The Minneapolis Chain of Lakes

The Minneapolis Chain of Lakes

Minneapolis, MN 55419

Pick one, or all three. Lake Bde Mka Ska, Lake of the Isles, and Lake Harriet are a tight cluster of lakes that add a splash of bright, breezy relaxation to south Minneapolis. Interconnected by low speed driveable parkways, and paved bicycle and walking trails. Pack a picnic, or grab lunch in one of the many adjoining neighborhoods. Personally, we recommend the Linden Hills neighborhood near Lake Harriet for a midday meal.

50th & France

50th & France

Edina, MN 55424

Check out a walkable shopping and dining district just south of Minneapolis with an old school movie theater and a wide variety of restaurants and retail.

Saint Anthony Main

Saint Anthony Main

Minneapolis, MN

Historic, walkable neighborhood with great coffee, food, and downtown Minneapolis skyline views. Walk the cobblestone sidewalks to the Stone Arch Bridge while you are at it. Get lunch or dinner at Aster Cafe, where Greg and Kelly had their first date!
