Kelly and Alex first crossed paths in the spring of 2022. At their very first lunch together, they decided to sign up for an Italian language course, and even started planning a trip to Italy! Just a few months later, in September, they found themselves wandering the streets of Florence, bonding over gelato, pizza, and shopping in Rome. Since then, their friendship has only grown stronger. Kelly admires Alex’s determination, kindness, and fearless spirit; qualities that make her a truly remarkable friend. Alex lives life boldly, with a heart full of generosity, and Kelly feels beyond grateful to call her one of her best friends. Her husband, Alasdair (one of Gregory's groomsmen), is an exceptional person also. Alex and Alasdair's summer backyard pizza parties are weekly get togethers that Kelly and Gregory cherish. Those backyard hangouts and Alex's annual birthday dinner at Mucci's in St. Paul, have allowed the four of them to really create lasting friendships. It means so much that Alex will be officiating Kelly and Gregory’s wedding. Her willingness to take on such a meaningful role is one of the greatest gifts they could ever receive from a friend. Thank you, Alex, for making our wedding day even more special!

Lauren and Kelly first connected in early 2022, just days before Kelly’s ACL surgery. Their first “girl date” quickly revealed the kind of friend Lauren would be, thoughtful, generous, and full of heart. The day after Kelly's surgery, after knowing Kelly only a couple days, Lauren showed up with Kelly's favorite latte and a breakfast scone, a gesture that spoke volumes about her kindness and warmth. Since then, their bond has only grown stronger. With their shared fiery Aries energy, Kelly and Lauren bring out the best in each other, whether they’re planning adventures, celebrating life’s moments, or simply enjoying time together. Lauren is smart, fun, and deeply thoughtful, with a knack for making every occasion special. Kelly and Gregory feel so grateful to count Lauren and her husband, Eric (one of Gregory’s groomsmen), as cherished friends. Having them both by their side on the wedding day is truly a gift.

Henry and Greg met in first grade. They bonded over drawing epic battles in class, then bringing those pencil and paper creations to life during recess. In true summer break fashion, they would stress test the limits of bicycles, trampolines, and tree houses. In high school they went on group backpacking trips deep in to the wilderness of the country's National Parks. Greg is so grateful to have Henry as a friend for all these years, and honored he can be here to celebrate Greg's wedding with Kelly.

John and Greg both loved World of Warcraft. While they never played together, that spark turned in to a friendship of offline adventures shared. Together they sampled the best that the twin cities brewery scene has to offer. Up until recently, John and Greg would get together with a group of friends to talk, have family style dinners, and share in the collaborative world building and story telling of Dungeons & Dragons. To John, Throm-Ka and thank you for being here on our wedding day.

Luke is a dedicated friend and father. He and Greg met through his brother John, who is also a groomsman. It was at Luke's home that we would gather to visit, break bread, and have a beer to unwind after the week. He's a gifted storyteller whose imagination, humor, and booming laugh bring life to any gathering. He is quick to lend you a hand or an ear. His friendship is a true gift, and we are so grateful for his presence at our celebration!

Greg met Alasdair through his wife Alex, who is one of Kelly's dearest friends. Together, the four have weathered the triumphs and tribulations of making it work as millennials. It was the unbiased advice and wise anecdotes from Alex and Alasdair that got Greg and Kelly through their home buying experience with their sanity intact. It is at their home that we gather for summer pizza nights, and wintry holiday parties. Alasdair is the master of humble wisdom, true class, and the outdoor pizza oven. We are so thankful to have him in our everyday lives, and in the biggest day of our lives.
