Originally from Newark, Delaware, Laura has lived in every region of the US except the Southwest and enjoys visiting off-the-beaten-path locations, learning about the local culture, and conversing with interesting people. A foodie and cat lady at heart, she enjoys trying new dishes and feeding her pet strays, Sylvester and Tom.

Matt was raised in Monrovia, Alabama, and he grew up collecting rocks and playing videogames. Like Laura, he enjoys travel and local cuisine. He had an axolotl as a pet for some reason.

Jenny met the bride through a mutual friend and colleague, and they've been close friends and colleagues ever since, frequently texting about anything and everything. As a veteran MOH, Jenny has the know-how to ensure a great time is had by the bride, bridesmaids, and all!

Zack met the groom in the fourth grade when they bonded over playing in dirt. They became fast friends, and as adults, they still play in the dirt, although they call it hiking and camping.

Although Hilary was a Ph.D. student when the bride was a postdoc in a related field at the University of Pittsburgh, they may have never met had they not attended the same church! These days, they enjoy talking on the phone most weekends about data analysis as well as married and family life.

Tyler and the groom met the first week of freshman year at Auburn through mutual friends, and the Matt puns and Tyler groans haven't stopped since!

Tracy and the bride met as housemates in campus grad housing at UCSC. As a veteran long-distance hiker, Tracy introduced the bride to multi-day hiking and camping trips, teaching her useful skills that she still uses on trips to locations such as Great Smoky Mountain National Park and the Arkansas Ozarks.

Nik and Matt are fast high school friends and college roommates. He once literally gave Matt the shirt off of his back, and his powers are largely derived from his luscious locks of hair.

As Matt's younger (and cooler) sister, Krista and the bride hit it off right away. As educators, they enjoy sharing the latest gossip and anecdotes about their students. As soon-to-be sisters-in-law, they love playing fun games with (and being beaten by) Matt's older sister Heather's kids at her lake house in Guntersville.

Mike is Matt's older brother. Matt has known him his whole life. Mike works as a marine biologist in south Florida where he lives with his beautiful girlfriend Jana and their two dogs. Mike loves to hike and once rode his bike the entire length of Florida on a whim.
