Sugar sand beaches next to the emerald-colored Gulf--a prime example of why this section of the Florida panhandle is known as the Emerald Coast.  Don't forget to bring sunscreen!

John Beasley Park

An excellent place to take a walk over the ocean or fish. $2 admission to walk; $8 to fish; admission valid all day.

Okaloosa Island Pier

Our wedding venue, and also a great place to spend a rainy day.  Home to many friendly marine animals, including sea lions, penguins, and (of course) dolphins!

Gulfarium

Shack selling delicious steamed and fried seafood popular with the locals.

Stewby's Seafood Shanty

Cute French cafe with outdoor seating overlooking the bay--perfect for breakfast or lunch.

Bay Cafe French Restaurant

Great spot for ice cream (many flavor choices) and a round or two of putt-putt.
