Things To Do

Although we're new to Fort Walton Beach, too, we've scoped out the area to share a few recommendations with you!

John Beasley Park

1550 Miracle Strip Pkwy, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32528

Sugar sand beaches next to the emerald-colored Gulf--a prime example of why this section of the Florida panhandle is known as the Emerald Coast. Don't forget to bring sunscreen!

Okaloosa Island Pier

Pier Road, Okaloosa Island, FL 32548

An excellent place to take a walk over the ocean or fish. $2 admission to walk; $8 to fish; admission valid all day.

Gulfarium

1010 Miracle Strip Pkwy. SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548

Our wedding venue, and also a great place to spend a rainy day. Home to many friendly marine animals, including sea lions, penguins, and (of course) dolphins!

Stewby's Seafood Shanty

235 Santa Rosa Boulevard, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548
, (850) 374-3765

Shack selling delicious steamed and fried seafood popular with the locals.

Bay Cafe French Restaurant

233 Alconese Avenue Southeast, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548
, (850) 244-3550

Cute French cafe with outdoor seating overlooking the bay--perfect for breakfast or lunch.

Okaloosa National Mini Golf & Ice Cream

225 Santa Rosa Boulevard, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548
, (850) 888-3404

Great spot for ice cream (many flavor choices) and a round or two of putt-putt.
