Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We are holding a welcome gathering at AJ's Seafood and Oyster Bar on Fri., May 27 from 9-11pm and a farewell brunch at Asiago's Skillet on Sun., May 29 from 9-11am. See the Schedule page for additional details and to RSVP for these events. We hope to see you there!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invite says "and [your date's name]" or "and Guest," then yes. Otherwise, we'd prefer that only you attend.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your invite says "and child(ren)," then yes. Otherwise, we'd prefer for our wedding to be your night off!

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail, please. We want you to feel comfortable, however, so if those heels are too high or that top button is too tight, feel free to let it hang loose :-)

Will alcohol be served at the wedding and associated events?

Answer

All events, including the wedding, will be dry, meaning no alcohol will be served at them. Instead, non-alcoholic beverages will be served. We thank you for your respect and understanding.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course--we'll work with our caterer to accommodate you to the best of our ability. Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Because we already have most of the necessities for daily living, we'd prefer contributions in any amount to our cash fund listed on the Registry page. We'll put your contrubutions to this fund toward our honeymoon, future trips, and additional furniture for our new (and larger) apartment.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the Travel page for recommendations for hotels and residential rentals in and around the Fort Walton Beach area. Due to the wedding being on Memorial Day weekend, we were unfortunately unable to reserve a block of rooms at any local hotels--our apologies and thanks for your understanding!
