Wedding Details
The Josephine Butler Parks Center is a historic 1927 Renaissance Revival mansion perched above Meridian Hill Park, and it has long been a hub for Washington, D.C.’s cultural and civic life. Originally built as a grand diplomatic residence, the building later became home to community organizations dedicated to protecting public spaces, advancing environmental justice, and championing D.C. statehood. We chose it as our wedding venue because it reflects the soul of D.C.: rich in history, grounded in community, and deeply connected to the fight for full representation for the District.

Formal Attire
The venue will open at 4:30PM. Please arrive to the venue no later than 4:45PM to settle in and find your seats. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00PM with the cocktail hour and reception to follow.
After Party
