We heard music coming from the Yukon Bar, where the folk band Blackwater Railroad Company was playing. There was a barefoot fiddler player jumping around the stage, there was Uncle Val's gin, there was electricity in the air. We played what we remember to be an unstoppable streak of pool — five games, six games, we couldn't lose. We remember that night as the one where our relationship began in earnest. We called up Blackwater Railroad Company and told them this story – and they agreed to play at our wedding!
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
For 5-years running, Frank and our best friend Nirali have hosted a speciality coffee pop-up called 'Pouring Over'. It's usually held on Etolin Street in Sitka, and always at a moment's notice. Grace makes ginger snaps. A special edition of Pouring Over will be running all morning on the rooftop starting at 10am! Brunch made by the Tucker-Ecchers will be ready at 10:30am.
