Brittany and Anna met in Kindergarten. They were destined to be friends with the long standing history of friendship between their families, beginning with their grandfathers. Both from Perryopolis, their families have been connected for many decades and Brittany and Anna have been, too!

Nick and Eric have been close friends since their days at Duquesne and it was their mutual affinity of polka culture that led Nick to invite Eric to his first Slovenefest. While every passing year is filled with amazing memories and stories, in 2016 Eric had to ditch Nick at the Gostilna to "see about a girl." Eric is honored to have Nick serving as his best man and is forever grateful that he got that fateful invite so many years ago.

Tanya was Anna's first Pitt friend where they met during freshman orientation in 2009. Anna was very nervous, but found a friend in this girl who was doing a sudoku puzzle over breakfast. Tanya has been a great support through all of their college and life adventures, especially stats class, and Anna is so excited to have Tanya by her side!

Eric and Frank met on June 25, 1989 when Eric became a big brother. Throughout the years they have shared a love of music, movies, and being "Army Guys" to protect the world (their house) from certain and inevitable invasion. Eric is excited to have the Tankalator by his side to welcome a new member to the family.

Erin and Anna met in 6th grade. Anna knew that they would be friends when they showed up to orientation wearing the same shirt. Erin wasn't so sure about Anna at first, but once they got to know each other, they were inseparable!
Gordon Mann

In 2004, Gordon and Eric immediately learned they were kindred spirits when they both got yelled at for sleeping in their first class at the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University. Later that day, Gordon invited Eric to meet his friends "in this ethnic group called the Tamburitzans" and it has been a legendary friendship ever since. Eric is thankful to have Gordon stand with him on such an important day in his life.

Emma and Anna became fast friends when Emma started dating Anna's brother, Jaymes. Having just planned her own wedding in 2018, Emma has been a great support and resource for Anna. Anna is so thankful to have such an amazing sister-in-law beside her on her big day!
Jaymes Progar

Eric and Jaymes, Anna's brother, met at Eric's first "Progar Party." They were able to connect through their love of music and have since become very close. If you ever get the chance, Eric and Jaymes' witty reparteé is something to experience. Eric is ecstatic to have Jaymes with him on his big day and to be gaining another brother.

Madeleine is Anna's cousin. They are almost exactly 10 years apart in age and have grown up together. From running around on the family farm to donning formal wear, Anna is excited to celebrate the addition of a new family member with her cousin!

Jeff and Eric truly became close friends during Eric's Senior year at Duquesne when they were assigned as roommates (because Gordon and Eric weren't allowed to live together anymore). Later, they would become house-mates, and their friendship would be cemented. Jeff was with Eric that night at Caliente's when Eric and Anna re-met for the second time. Eric is honored to have Jeff as a groomsman.

Libby is Anna's cousin. Anna fondly remembers watching Libby as a baby and has enjoyed watching her grow up over the years. Anna is excited to celebrate the addition of a new family member with her cousin!
Alex Kozlowski

Eric and Alex met through Gordon and became close after college. Eric has always been able to depend on Alex for his blunt honesty and unwavering loyalty as a friend. Anna passed the final "Friend-Test" when she met Alex at his Memorial Day picnic and he pulled Eric aside and said "I really think you have a great girl here." Eric is so glad to have Alex stand by his side and celebrate this time with him.
