Is there parking?

Answer

Our church (St. Mary's) has street parking available all around the church and on the surrounding streets. It is about 5 minutes from the Capitol, so parking is limited and we highly encourage our guests to travel via metro, since our church and reception venue are both right off the red line. Our reception venue (Margot Hall) has a parking lot which is located directly behind St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School off Lawrence Street NE and has enough space for about 40 cars. There is also free street parking in the neighborhood streets around the Church.

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

We have carefully chosen our wedding venues on streets right next to/across from two metro stops on the same line (the red line). Our wedding mass at St. Mary's is a 2-5 minute walk from the Chinatown metro stop, and Margot Hall (at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church) is a 5-8 minute walk from the Brookland/CUA metro stop. The metro ride from Chinatown to Brookland takes about 15 minutes. What time should I arrive at the Mass?

Answer

Mass will start promptly at 11 AM. Please plan on arriving early to park - keeping in mind that parking will be more scarce at the church than it will be at the reception venue.
