This is a cutie little path by the DuPage River in Downtown Naperville. Bumble by the water, eat at any of the yummy restaurants nearby--I recommend Blue Sushi--or pick up some Jeni's Ice Cream!
Located on the iconic Michigan Ave, the Art Institute holds its own against even the best New York City museums! Would highly recommend a little ramble!
My favorite coffee shop in Chicagoland! Graeme and I have gone on dates here every time he visits Warrenville! The proceeds of their bakery go to help refugee and trafficked women in the Chicago area--their english muffin bread is to die for. Pick up some yummy coffees, enjoy the best avocado toast around, and support an amazing mission while you're at it!
If you're looking for a peaceful stroll, beautiful flowers, and gorgeous trees--this is the spot! Admission fee required!
Cantigny is a hybrid of my two favorite things--plants and World War history. This is an expansive park with succulent flower gardens, gorgeous old homes, and perfectly landscaped golf courses. But it's also home to the First Division War Museum that commemorates the Battle of Cantigny in 1918. The gardens are not just home to daffodils and roses, but also to real WW1 tanks that everyone can climb on and experience. Cantigny Park is the perfect place for plant lovers, history buffs, and rambunctious kiddos alike!
An iconic ice cream shoppe with so many unique flavors!
