Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can ensure a timely start.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting a formal dress code for the evening. For men, this means suits or button down shirts with dress pants and a tie. For women, floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail dresses are appropriate.

Are kids welcome?

Due to venue capacity, we’re unable to accommodate children at this time, with the exception of members of the wedding party.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the Confluence Hotel in Hastings, MN. We also have a block of discounted rooms available for guests at the hotel.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes, we’re happy to accommodate guests with food allergies. When you RSVP and select your meal for the reception, please note any dietary restrictions or allergy concerns in the comment section, or feel free to reach out to Gracie or Jackson directly. For guests with more severe food allergies, please note that the hotel also has a full‑service restaurant where a separate meal can be ordered if needed to ensure your comfort and safety.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Free overnight parking is available in the parking garage located across the street from the hotel/venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Since many of our guests are traveling from out of state, we intentionally chose a venue that has everything in one place — the hotel, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all under one roof at the Confluence Hotel. The Confluence Hotel is located in downtown Hastings, MN, which offers a variety of walkable restaurants, bars, shops, coffee and breakfast spots. The hotel is also less than 30 minutes from MSP Airport, and Uber, Lyft, and local taxi services are readily available for transportation to and from the airport. After the reception, we’ll be hosting a wedding after‑party at Scabs Place, a bar located in Prescott, WI, about a 10‑minute drive from the Confluence Hotel. A complimentary shuttle will run between the hotel and the bar throughout the night. The first shuttle will depart from the hotel at 10 PM, and the final return trip from the bar will leave at 2 AM.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Yes! We have two other events outside of the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception: WELCOME PARTY TIME + DATE: Friday, 7/31, 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM LOCATION: Hastings American Legion Post 47, 50 Sibley Street, Hastings, MN 55033 ATTIRE: The welcome party will be casual, so wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. ABOUT: A chance to grab a drink, visit, and take in the beautiful river views before the big day. OTHER DETAILS: The Hastings American Legion is a five-minute walk from the Confluence Hotel. Feel free to take the scenic route along the river bike path or stroll down Main Street. WEDDING AFTER PARTY TIME + DATE: Saturday, 8/1, 11 PM - 2 AM LOCATION: Scabs Place, 145 Broad Street, Prescott, WI 54021 ABOUT: Let's keep the party going! Join us for the after party at Scabs Place in Prescott, WI. TRANSPORTATION: A complimentary shuttle will run between the bar and hotel throughout the night. The first pickup from the hotel starts at 10 PM, and the final return trip from the bar leaves at 2 AM. OTHER DETAILS: Scabs is located in Prescott, WI, which is the next town on the Mississippi River and St. Croix River.
