Our wedding venue and where some of us will be staying, WMI also sits on 150 acres of woodland paths, beautiful gardens, and even a few resident alpacas! During our stay, guests are welcome to enjoy the Inn and it's nearby attractions.
Beautiful hiking spot that caused Amjad and Grace to fall in love with the area (and the location of our engagement photo shoot!)
Originally built in 1852, this is one of Vermont's oldest surviving covered bridges - and at 10 minutes away, it's a fun bit of history to check out!
For a small admission fee, you can enjoy a fun (for some) drive up to take in breathtaking views at the peak of the Taconic Range - a part of the Appalachian Mountains - to catch the leaves during a transition in seasons. As the time nears, check out Vermont.com's "Current Conditions" map for the latest foliage report.
This 306-foot-high (93 m) stone obelisk commemorates the Battle of Bennington, one of the turning points in the American Revolutionary War. From its observatory level at 200 feet, one can see Vermont along with Massachusetts and New York.
Enjoy everything this picturesque New England town has to offer!
A beautiful hike in the area!
Although it's just over an hour east of where we'll be, we wouldn't recommend this Vermont deli staple if we weren't serious about how good the food is. If you're coming in from Boston or taking I-91 N, make a quick pitstop for some wonderful food! Don't miss out on their incredible mac & cheese and cookies as big as your head.
