Matron of Honor
Lydia and Grace were assigned as freshman year roommates, and despite Grace wondering if this was in fact true, it was that first day arriving at Brannock and seeing Lydia’s already made bed and wall fixtures hung that she was in for an adventure. And it certainly was. The two were complete opposites, from theatre to softball, from Lilly Pulitzer to Nike, and yet it was the friendship both girls needed in their lives. They attempted to live separately for a year, only to realize they missed having the other across the room for weekly Bravo Real Housewives viewings and ordering pizza and Chinese food. There are probably too many stories to list, but always room for more. Lydia is the Beyoncé to Grace’s J-Lawrence, and can’t wait to stand by her bestie’s side on her special day.

Jose and Matt worked together at the University of Oregon. After Greg’s unceremonious departure from Oregon, Jose was in need of a place to live and Matt agreed to let him move in for a fair, below-market rate. This of course led to a year full of shenanigans and questionable business ideas while watching Shark Tank. Since then, Jose has moved onto bigger and better things, living LA and working for the Rams, but they remain as close as ever.

Lindsay and Grace met through their love for baseball, working for the same team in Plymouth, MA for the NECBL. Although Grace was technically Lindsay’s boss, it wasn’t before they became a dynamic power duo operating the team. They took over the town of Plymouth for two summers with their frequent visits to Cabby Shack for Blue Moons and clam chowder. As Grace’s non-biological twin, Lindsay has always been there when Grace needed her most, and can’t wait to celebrate changing her last name

Often confused for brother and sister as kids, Amanda and Matt have been best friends since Day 1. They grew up playing baseball, basketball and soccer, shooting BB guns at imaginary birds and watching The Bold and the Beautiful with their grandma, and then Amanda stopped growing. All these years later, they are still best friends, but now for fun, Matt hides Amanda’s phone in semi-high places and they play UNO while watching Jeopardy with grandma.

Aly and Grace were softball teammates at Elon and found a common love through all their workouts, practices and games: their love for music and dancing. The two were known for their positive vibes in any situation, and it was sophomore year living in a house off-campus the two became support systems with their families 12 hours away in RI and Miami. Grace couldn’t think of a more positive moment in her life to have her Cuban mang by her side
Groomsman
Being Grace’s brother, it was no surprise that Greg was one of the two men in her life she loved most and needed their approval when they started dating. It only took two weeks into the relationship for Greg to finally realize that Matt was the same friend who came to Thanksgiving the year before, to which he said “That guy? Ohh yeah, I remember, and yeah he’s a cool guy” so we took that as his nod to Matt.

Katie and Grace grew up together in Middletown, attending the same high school and found themselves in the same friend groups and sports teams. Katie and Grace each chose the same path to leave the state for college, Grace to Elon and Katie to Delaware, and yet this is what kept them so close. When Katie moved to NYC, every time Grace visited they picked up where they left off and it was as if nothing had changed. Grace wouldn’t want to celebrate this day without her hometown friend

Matt hired Alli right out of The Ohio State University, and despite that, they became great friends. Despite Matt throwing paper at Alli and making fun of the way she talked, Alli was a trooper and stuck it out, gifting Matt with her friendship. Now Alli is one of Matt’s go-to friends to talk to about college football, and they are both excited for the Big Day, when they can watch College GameDay together again and share a Family Size bag of Tostitos.
