New River Brewing Taproom & Brewery/Brewzer's Bites
Our favorite West Jefferson brewery! We met at a craft beer restaurant and have always loved checking out all the local craft beer everywhere we go. We hope you get a chance before or after the event to check this spot out. New River Ale House is their second location that is more of a restaurant setting than a beer garden setting. They are just down the street from one another.

Booneshine Brewing Company
One of our favorite Boone breweries. This is a great option to hit on the way in or out of Boone, if guests decide to travel into Boone during the weekend.
Grandfather Mountain State Park
Great for early risers wanting to travel an hour for some incredible views and lots to do! Please note that entrance into Grandfather Mountain either for hiking, checking out the zoo, or driving up to the swinging bridge will require an entry fee. We recommend checking out Grandfather Vineyards on your way back to West Jefferson from Linville; great outdoor Vineyard with food trucks and live music.

Downtown Boone
Downtown Boone is about 30 minutes from West Jefferson. Boone will have additional food/beverage, shopping, hiking, and even lodging options. If guests have the opportunity, we highly recommend spending a little time in Boone.
