Our Special Day will begin in the late afternoon on Saturday, August 29th, 2026. Our event will be held at The Barn on New River in West Jefferson, North Carolina. All guests should plan to arrive at 3:45PM for a welcome drink and to be seated before the ceremony begins. We’re beyond excited to celebrate with you in the Blue Ridge Mountains! It means the world to have our favorite people gathered in our favorite place. We’d love for you to take a moment to really read through the Travel section. It is lengthy, but really important! Since we’re nestled in the Blue Ridge, we’ve included all the details to help make your travels for the weekend as smooth as possible. Cocktail Attire: Cocktail dresses, floor-length florals, or a dressy jumpsuit are all perfect choices. Gentlemen, suits and ties are always a win, but khakis paired with a dress shirt and jacket work great too. Heels, dressy flats, elegant sandals, and classic dress shoes are encouraged. Let’s keep it classy — no sneakers, jeans, or shorts please.

The Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be outdoors (weather permitting). Dinner and dancing will be primarily indoors. Please plan accordingly. Women, please note you will be walking on grass, gravel, and on stones when outside. Please arrive at 3:45PM to grab a welcome drink and take your seat for the Ceremony. Cocktail Hour and Reception will follow. All events are taking place at The Barn on New River. Can't wait to party with you!
