If you already know, please RSVP now! The earlier the better, but please make sure to have your RSVP by February 15th the latest.
The ceremony will start at 4:30 pm promptly. Please arrive as close to 4 pm as possible to ensure everyone is seated and in place on time (latecomers will be asked to stand at the back during the ceremony).
If approaching from Concord Rd, you will turn onto Gravely Branch Rd and proceed ~500 ft and Twisty Maple will be on your RIGHT. The entrance for Twisty Maple is the paved driveway immediately before the wooden sign ('TM' logo); this is a ONE WAY driveway, which will first pass the parking lot on the left, the venue on the right, and then exit back onto Gravely Branch Rd. To return to the venue, you can take a left and then re-enter at the beginning of the driveway (now on your left). Please refer to photo header for layout of the venue; guests will park in 'Guest Parking Lot' and take the grass walking paths to the main driveway. Once at the entrance of the house/venue, signs will guide you to the ceremony space. For guests with limited mobility, the main driveway can be used to drop off guests at the front of the venue. Continue forward along the main driveway to exit back onto Gravely Branch, and then re-enter at the beginning of the driveway to park in the guest lot.
Formal or Cocktail Attire: Suits and floor length dresses are welcome, and so are tie optional suits and elegant cocktail dresses. While not required, we would love for our guests to add to our spring mountain wedding vision with floral pattern dresses and nature inspired suit colors (blue, green, brown). Outfit inspiration can be found here: https://pin.it/4P5uBQcIF Please note that all wedding day activities (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) will be held outside and guests should plan to dress accordingly.
We are keeping our special day small and intimate, so unless specifically indicated in your online RSVP, the invitation is for the recipient only. Thank you for your understanding!
We are looking forward to having our nieces and nephews participate in the wedding ceremony and enjoy the beginning of the reception. However we ask that families bring their little ones home for the 'Adults Only' end of reception (9:00-10:30pm).
In mid-April, Asheville enjoys mild weather with temperatures generally comfortable during the day time, and cooler temps in the evening. While we will be prepared with outdoor space heaters and an indoor fireplace to keep everyone warm, please remember this is an outdoor wedding and guests should dress accordingly.
