Travelling to Les Cévennes
Our wedding will take place in the mountains of Les Cevennes, a region in the south of France. Each event will be held in a different village surrounding Esparon, a small hamlet where Adrien has a family home. The main town in the region is Le Vigan, where the Saturday Farmer’s Market is held and where you can find shops, groceries, pharmacies, and other essentials. Guests will be staying in different villages around Esparon, and there are several ways to reach the region. First you will need to travel to Montpellier and from there we will be providing a shuttle service to your accommodation: By Air: The nearest airport is Montpellier Méditerranée, with connections available from Paris. By Train: If you're traveling by train, you will first need to reach Paris and then take a high speed train (TGV) to Montpellier Sud de France. The journey from Paris takes about 3 hours. • Note that there are several train stations for Montpellier. Montpellier "St-Roch," and "Montpellier Sud de France" * Shuttle Service: We will be providing a shuttle service from Montpellier Sud-de-France train Station to your lodging. The shuttle ride takes approximately 1.5 hours. The Shuttle will leave at 3:00pm on July 3rd. *If you are arriving via plane to Montpellier you will need to take an airport shuttle or taxi to Montpellier Sud-de-France train station. The Shuttle will make the return journey on July 6th at 12pm Noon back to Montpellier Sud de France Station. Public Transportation: If you plan on taking public transportation, we recommend doing so from Nimes Centre Station, as the train station and bus station are in the same building. If you are taking public transport from Montpellier, you will need to transfer from the train station or airport to “Occitanie” Bus Station. You will take the 608 Bus to Le Vigan. Please see the below links. Car Rental: If you prefer to rent a car, you can rent from any train station in both Montpellier or Nîmes.
