FAQs

The Wedding Website of Rachel Shapiro and Nicholas Bailey
Question

Are you asking all guests to be vaccinated for Covid-19?

Answer

Yes, all guests must be fully vaccinated by mid-August. Chicago regulations require proof of vaccine, so please bring your vaccine card or a digital copy of it with you for the weekend!

Question

What's your hashtag?

Answer

#goygetsgirl Nick thought of it and Rachel has never been prouder.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. We’re thrilled to have so many brand new faux nieces and nephews due to the Covid baby boom. Please tell them we love them, but they are sadly not invited. We’re happy to help with childcare, though, if needed! We’re actors. All of our friends are nannies.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

We won’t be providing transportation—some of our hotel blocks are within walking distance, but it should only be about a $5-7 rideshare from any of them. Or, if you rent a car and want to drive, there will be valet parking at the event.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! Otherwise, no. But we promise to dance with you!

Question

Who took all these great pictures?

Answer

It was the one and only Ruthie Shapiro. She’s a star.
