Matron of Honor
You know those people who just get you and all your weird ways? Who can laugh with you uncontrollably about dumb things and cry with you over hard things? That's Heather for me. We met at Union College during Project Impact, a community service day, and have been great friends ever since. Heather is a P.A. and is currently in the mission field in the Philippines with her husband Jared (whom is also one of those awesome people who just get you) and their two boys Stephen and Daniel.

Heidi and I haven't known a day without each other mostly because we're sisters, and I was 13 months old when she was born. She lives in the Chattanooga area and is working part-time as an MRI tech so she can spend her paycheck on formula for my nephew Jack. She is married to an awesome man, Jason, whose mellow personality fits perfectly with her not-so-mellow personality.

Alicia and I met at Union College as well. The first time I saw her, we were in one of Dr. Schroeder's history classes together. She sat in front of me with knitting materials, which I thought was gutsy to bring to a history class from a professor that was awesome and terrifying at the same time. She's the Joanna Gaines of the gardening world, much to her husband Raydon's chagrin, as he often gets pulled into another one of her projects which always ends up being beautiful. She has three children - Zane, Tahlia, and Elora - and works part-time as a nurse.

Mindy is another Unionite, but we didn't meet until she and her husband Travis moved to Grand Junction, CO, which was where I was living at the time. Mindy is a stay-at-home mom of three - Talus, Zeb and Cora - and she also homeschools her boys while chasing around a baby. Mindy is the epitome of a gracious host and is an organizational guru when it comes to planning a party or any get together. You'll never find a more talented person when it comes to welcoming you into her home.
