Truckee River Raft
If you are feeling adventurous and have an extra day, white water rafting would be a great activity. The Truckee River is similar to a lazy river so this activity is kid friendly. Don't be too tired to dance the night away though!!!
Tahoe Treetop Adventure Park
Each park offers a variety of different courses for every level of athleticism. Each course consists of multiple tree platforms connected by a variety of different style events or “bridges” and/or zip lines. The experience is not a “ride”; you will be interacting and participating for 2+ hours.

Hiking-Easy/Moderate-D.L. Bliss State Park to Emerald Bay State Park
D.L. Bliss State Park to Emerald Bay State Park via Rubicon Trail- easy/moderate elevation, but long 7.3 miles out and back. Beautiful views of west shore lake Tahoe to Emerald Bay. With some planing you could drop a 2nd car off at Emerald Bay to do a one way hike. Contact Mike Larocco for more details.

Hiking-Hard Moderate-Shirley Canyon Trail
Shirley Canyon Cascade Trail.- Harder (but great hike) Hike from Squaw Valley parking lot up Shirley Canyon to Shirley lake, then up to High Camp. Enjoy tram ride down. 5.8 miles to the tram, 2000 elevation gain.

Moody's Bistro Bar & Beats
Established in 2002, Moody’s Bistro is the quintessential Truckee experience. A warm, inviting space filled with locals, long-time visitors, and first-time tourists. A place for craft-cocktails, farm-to-table eats, and world-class, eclectic sounds. Where the staff is friendly and the music is always free. Also, Paul McCartney has been known to drop into the bar and play a few songs for the locals.
Bar of America
The building where the Truckee bar is located has had many faces throughout the years. Prior to 1891, early photos show a stove and tin-ware shop at this location where the Bar of America stands today. Following a fire in 1891, a four-story Victorian hotel was built on the Bar of America site. Since then it has been the California Restaurant owned by Antone Mahne and Joseph Filipic, the California Restaurant later owned by the Bretthauers, and Essie Polyanch's Restaurant. Eventually, it became the downtown Truckee bus station and yes, even a Bank of America. In 1974 Jack Leonesio leased the building and opened the Bar of America. For over 40 years now, the Bar of America has been recognized as the iconic watering hole in historic downtown Truckee.

Alibi Ale Works - Truckee Public House
We opened our second location in Truckee California's historic downtown in June 2017 to offer another venue to enjoy our beers, along with regular live music and a creative food menu. Much like our Incline taproom, it is a comfortable, well-crafted space for people to gather and relax. We offer 22 frequently-rotating Alibi beers on draft, as well as cider, wine and non-alcoholic options. We offer growlers, cans and bottles to go (to-go beer offerings rotate frequently). We also have awesome Alibi merchandise for sale including hats, shirts, hoodies, glassware and gift cards. We are a family-friendly establishment and welcome minors until 9pm most nights. However, dogs are not allowed inside our establishment since we have a kitchen.
