We are saying yes to forever!

Exit 219 off Interstate 5 heading southbound at the Mobil gas station. Yeah really, we met at a gas station. Dustin was the first guy Kelly gave her number to and it was love at first sight. She couldn't help but stall and "check her oil" to linger a little longer so he would notice her. She sparked up the conversation and the rest is history.

Ten dates later we fell in love and made it official only to find out Dustin was released from the Navy and we would begin the next year being long distance. A year and 400 hundred miles apart later, Dustin followed his heart back to LA and moved in with Kelly in Pasadena, CA. Shortly after, we adopted Boomer from the local shelter, our first (fur) baby. Our love grew with our love for the outdoors, watching Friends before bed, and cooking dinner together every night. The adventure in So Cal continued with a chance to move to the beach where we spent one year enjoying the crisp ocean air and hiking trails on the coast. We loved LA but it never felt like home for us. We always knew we wanted to put our roots down in the Bay Area and be closer to family. Little did Kelly know...Dustin had been working on making her dreams come true with a little patience.

In June of 2017 Dustin got his long awaited for promotion and move to the Santa Clara office. Kelly's dad told Dustin he wouldn't let Kelly quit her job for just any guy and Dustin needed to show his commitment and put a ring on it if he wanted Kelly to move with him. Dustin wanted all his ducks in a row and this was finally the time. With a surprise trip to Carmel, CA, he proposed and she said yes to forever. Kelly never knew her dream man, location, and future would happen all at once.
