Co-Matron of Honor
Maggie has been my very best friend since 7th grade. Friends for over a decade...that is absolutely insane to think about. But I wouldn't change it for the entire world/ We have grown up together and I am so honored to have her by my side! I mean, look at that smile! -Scheherazade
Groomsman
Matt Russell, father, brother, known to many as "Dale" for... some reason? He is well known for enthusiastically discussing a variety of his interests. These range from freeform jazz to having lies made up about himself. Sadly Matt Russell has little to no control over what is written about himself. In all seriousness, Mr. Russell has been a mentor to me and an amazing friend. He has an empathetic soul, and is willing contribute to any conversation with keen insight. -Matthew
Co-Matron of Honor
I met Abby while working in Winston, remember we give no free promos here. After long shifts, and bar talks, we too became the best of friends. I love her to bits and I'm so glad that she will be beside me. -Scheherazade
Groomsman
Bennett is widely known as "that guy" Constantly bringing good vibes and a generally positive disposition. Do not share secrets with this man. He will sell them to an information merchant at his earliest chance. I told him my banking details after a few brewskis and now I have nothing. Bennett is truly that guy. Super nice, understanding, and always there to reach out to new people. The first day I met Bennett he engaged me in a lengthy conversation and he helped to break the ice for me in a new place. I barely knew the gentleman and he introduced me to everyone at a certain gaming related social gathering. If you happen to meet this man at my wedding. Give him a firm hand shake and a pleasent smile, because that is exactly what he intends to do. - Matthew
Bridesmaid
I met Brisa while working in Winston, I had no idea that this amazing woman would grow to be one of my absolute best friends. But here we are and I couldn't be more grateful! -Scheherazade
Groomsman
To attempt to describe Dan Smith, would be like trying to describe the ingredients inside many brands of laundry detergent. Difficult but not impossible. Dan and I go back over a decade, late nights hanging out playing games, and road trips to closed camping grounds that we believed were open. Dan encouraged me to move from Virginia to North Carolina and if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have ever met Scheherazade. Dan has been a positive guiding force in my life, and I don't know where I would be without him. - Matthew
Bridesmaid
Give. Them. Barb. My cousin Barbara is probably one of the coolest people that I know. I used to want to be just like her when I grew up. I honestly owe a lot of my personality to Barbara. Gotta love her. -Scheherazade
Groom's Sibling/ Groomsperson
Clare is known for stealing garden gnomes. If a garden gnome happens to be within a 35 meter radius, Clare will know, and take the gnome to add to her "collection"... Clare has always been an excellent elder sibling. Whenever I was interested in some kind of hobby, Clare would encourage me to pursue it. Especially if it was a hobby she was already interested in. Early into my relationship with Scheherzade, Clare immediately wanted to meet her and get to know Scheherzade. - Matthew
Bridesmaid
My sweet Nyasa, so talented and funny. You may recognize a bit of a similarity between Nyasa and myself, and that's because she's my little sister. (Although she is definitely taller than I am.) I have had the honor of watching her grow, and am so very glad that she is going to stand by my side. -Scheherazade

Known in 3 different states as "the boy who curses at the stars", Michael gained notoriety for shouting incessantly at any celestial body, sadly this sometimes included the moon. Which bothered many elderly citizens. Growing up, me and Michael were close. I was the annoying younger brother, and he was the guitar playing cool boy, who is too cool for school. Michael graduated and became a computer scientist, and years later he would encourage me to pursue the same line of study. As of 2022 I am partly through my online college courses, and Michael was there to help me with any issue I had understanding programming. I hope to be done with my degree in the next few years, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without Michaels encouragement. - Matthew
Officiant
I have known Julie for quite some time, but we have gotten much closer over the last couple of years. They are such an honest and genuine person, and I couldn't be more grateful that they are going to officiate our wedding. -Scheherazade
Mother of the Bride
I have TWO, count em, TWO moms. This is my bio mom Geraleese. She brought me into this world and she can as she has said many times "take me out of it", lol. But all jokes aside, I am so glad that I am friends with my mom. So she gets to be on here, plus she gets to co walk me down the aisle! -Scheherazade
Mother of the Bride
Did you forget already? I JUST said that I have two moms! Here is my other one, Sade. She is technically my step mom...but I don't like the connotations that comes with that word, so we use Mama Bae instead. She's a thug and it is my goal to make her cry at my wedding. -Scheherazade
Mother of the Groom
Brenda, otherwise known as Sandra: Sandcastle Destroyer. Brenda has the leading record for sand castle destruction. As well as the record for hurting the feelings of children who built said sand castles. Brenda has been an excellent mother to me. I owe so much of who I am to her constant love and firm convictions. I remember growing up watching cartoons with sexist tropes, and my mother's reactions to them made me realize that our world was kinda messed up. I grew up with a greater understanding of what it meant to be a man through my mother's personality and convictions. She sacrificed so much for me and my siblings, and I am grateful to her every day for being a light in my life. - Matthew
Brother of the Bride
Everyone look at my not so little brother! This little twerp is the bane of my existence, jk XD. I love this little booger. We have definitely had our ups and downs growing up, but we found out how to be friends and care for each other the way we need to be. I can honestly say I am so proud to have him walk me down the aisle. -Scheherazade
Grandmother of the Bride
I am from a family of women. All the women in my life are so important. Meet my Grandmother, a spit fire, no bs, don't make me repeat myself, will give you my last dime hero. I love her to pieces. -Scheherazade
