Howdy! Scheherazade here! Now listen, I wish we could tell you that we met as people did in 2002... But alas, we are millennials and dating apps are a thing. That's right, Matthew and I met on a dating app. We will not be saying which one, because there will be no free promo here, lol. I asked Matthew to get a drink with me, we set a date and that was that. The next week, I lost my job and a pandemic took the world by storm. So there was really no excuse for him not to hang out with me. We spent a LOT of time together, like a substantial amount. And like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives. (Someone tell me they know where that is from). ANYWAY, a little over a year later, Matt proposed, and here we are, here you are, reading this!! ~~Scheherazade~~ Oh boy! Now it's my turn! Matt here! The moment I met Scheherazade I knew there was something special about this wonderful human we all love and know. I proceeded to immediately ask for a hug after our initial greeting. Which was a bit odd... but hey. She decided to marry me so it worked okay. What Scheherazade didn't know, is that I had been waiting in the bar for about 10 minutes before she showed up trying to remember how to properly pronounce her name. From our first date, we immediately hung out the following night, and the night after that... and after that .. and so on. As bad as Covid has been and still is, I am thankful for all the time it created for us to spend together. And now we get to throw a bit party with all of you! So please come.
