ATTIRE: What to wear

Answer

The attire for our wedding and reception is Creative Cocktail Attire! I'm sure you are thinking "well what is that??" Simple! It is a mixture of creative black tie and cocktail! When a formal event calls for a creative black tie dress code, it means you don’t have to adhere to the traditional black tie standards! Add some fun colors or textures! And cocktail attire is a balance between formal and casual and elegant and comfortable. Please be sure that you are comfortable! And remember this will be October in good ole NC, so be sure that you are all bundled up!

What Will the Weather Be Like This Time of Year

Answer

One thing about good ole NC, is that it can get a bit chilly. The highs are about 70° to 76°, with the lows normally hitting the 50s. I would say that a light jacket would be nice, because we will be in the Yadkin Valley. But trust your judgement!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that you arrive 30-45 minutes before the ceremony starts.

Where will the reception be?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception will be in the same place!!

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of parking! There will also be golf cart shuttles that will bring you to the ceremony site if needed.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

AWWW, bummer! You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we absolutely adore our little ones this will be an adults only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

TOTALLY! This is a celebration of love, and I would love if you felt comfortable posting about it! We even have a hashtag! #GoingEast

Where are you registered?

Answer

Although you being there would be enough of a present we are registered on the Zola website, Crate and Barrel, Amazon, and Target!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

We will have plenty of beer, wine, and champagne. Not to mention lots of water and other non-alcoholic drinks! I am so freaking excited to say that Matt and I are having a pizza food truck at our wedding!! There will be plenty of food options for you to choose from!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is September 28th! (Preferably you would send it before then! :)) You can either mail it back, ORRR do it right here on the website! Just go to the "RSVP" page to get started!
