This is a mid-century modern boutique hotel right in the heart of downtown Durham. Jack got a free stay here when he was interviewing for grad school, and we have both enjoyed the stylish atrium and fun rooftop bar. We reserved a block of 10 rooms at the Durham Hotel. Deluxe King/Double rooms are available at a rate of $249, and Superior King/Double rooms are available for $269. The deadline for reservations is August 17th, 2026. We reserved a block of rooms at the Aloft Hotel in Downtown Durham. Rooms here are modern, clean, and plentiful! You would be right next to the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) and other Durham landmarks like the American Tobacco Campus and the Bulls Stadium. It's just two blocks off the main downtown square. This hotel has a pool and a bar. King and Double Queen rooms are available at a rate of $229 per night plus 13.5% tax. Hotel
We reserved a block of King Studio Suites at this hotel on West Main Street, right next to Duke's East Campus. This hotel is a little more at the edge of Durham's (small) downtown, but still in a highly walkable, restaurant-dense area. Walk 10-15 minutes down Main Street and you are right in the heart of downtown. All the rooms are suites so this is a great choice if you want more space! At the rate of $209 per night, each room features a king bed, sofa bed and kitchen. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Our booking link can be accessed below. Flight
RDU is the closest airport to our wedding weekend activities, located about 20 minutes from downtown Durham. There are typically plenty of Ubers & Lyfts available at the airport, and there is also a taxi stand.
