The Toronto Pearson International Airport is the typically the hub for international flight layovers. If you're planning on making a pitstop to do a little extra sightseeing, please be advised it is an approximate 1-hour flight directly to the Ottawa International Airport. Alternatively, it is 4 hours by car or 4 hours by train from Toronto to Ottawa.

VIA Rail

VIA Rail operates intercity passenger rail service in Canada. You can book the train to go to and from either Montreal (Montreal Central Station - Gare Centrale) or Toronto (Union Station). Please be advised there are two train stations in Ottawa. There is the Ottawa Train Station located at 200 Tremblay Road Ottawa (15 minute drive to downtown) or the Followfield Station located at 3347 Fallowfield Road (30 minute drive to downtown). Tip: The cheapest day to book tickets is on Tuesday!
