While we love your children, to allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend the wedding.
Come in your finest summer semi-formal attire! For those asking for guidance on what to wear, our venue is the perfect summer wedding destination and we want to commemorate that with color! Don’t be afraid to bust out a colorful dress or tie that you’ve been holding off on wearing. Florals, soft or bright colored button downs or ties all are great options. And if you want to wear all black, we absolutely do not care! Just want to provide guidance for those who seek it. No need for black tie/formal formal attire but please look nice, we got something to celebrate! SLO gets warm during the summer days and cools off enough at night to enjoy the outdoors without a jacket (though it never hurts to bring one!). There will be some soft grass and gravel so please wear appropriate footwear.
Arriving sometime between 3:30-3:45 is ideal as it gives you time to park, sign the guest book and grab a refreshment before taking a seat! Ceremony will start promptly at 4pm and we’d rather you watch from the seats than the parking lot! And know that every minute folks are late cuts into cocktail hour- don’t be that person!
While we are not providing transportation to the wedding, there is parking available at Flying Caballos with the option to leave your car overnight (you can always Uber or coordinate to get it in the morning). Please, do not drink and drive. There are plenty of ride-share options and taxi services available as the venue is only 10 minutes outside of downtown SLO.
