Corfu Airport has direct flights from the UK in the summer months. We suggest using a website like Skyscanner to find flights. A helpful feature is their "Multi-city" option that allows you to search for flights within Greece if you are planning to explore the rest of the archipelago or other European cities. ◾You can catch a taxi from the rank outside the arrivals hall. They will have a rate card clearly on display in their window. Although the price will depend on where you're going you can expect to pay about €10* (roughly £7.30) for the trip into the Corfu town. ◾The taxi ride from the airport to Corfu Town takes about 10 minutes. If you are travelling further out in the island, we suggest contacting your hotel or villa to pre-book a private transfer from the airport. If you book yourself, please, let us know so can ask our wedding planner whether it is a legitimate company.

If you are 3 or more guests, it may be cheaper and more luxurious to rent a large house or a villa rather than a hotel. Airbnb in Corfu is common. Book early as our dates are popular. Where to stay Old Town A UNESCO heritage sight with-in walking distance of many tourist attractions, shops, traditional restaurants, tavernas and much more! It has it's charm and old world character. Both bus stations and taxi stations are walking distance. Car park available for 3Euros/day. West coast It is recognised for its dramatic scenery overlooking spectacular blue waters. It has many of Corfu's best beaches and villages e.g. Paleokastritsa East coast An ideal base for exploring the island and being close to Corfu Town. Areas such as Gouvia, Ipsos, Kontokali have connections to Corfu Town, which takes just 15-20 minutes by bus/car. Avoid Kavos(South) Drunken tourists, mostly British teenagers, descend here every summer to party

Rental Car

Car rentals

Like the rest of Europe, manual transmission reigns supreme in Greece and the cheaper option. While there is an abundance rental agencies available in Corfu, using a site like Kayak or Skyscanner to compare prices and find your car is recommended. You will need an international drivers license to drive in Greece. For the more adventurous ones, motorcycle/scooter or ATV/quadbike are also available to rent.
