Talkeetna Boat Launch And Campground

For those of you wanting to camp, this is a good place to pitch a tent/ park an RV. The river flows right by it and it's close to town so you can easily catch the shuttle to the Talkeetna Lodge from Main Street.

Plan to fly into Anchorage, our home and the largest city in AK. Check out the rental car options near the airport or opt for the train or bus. If you need help with transportation, please reach out to us!

Train

Park Connection Motorcar

Deluxe Motorcoach Service from Anchorage to Seward, Denali, Talkeetna, Whittier. (Avoid renting a car!) If you're thinking about taking the bus to Talkeetna for the wedding, keep in mind that the bus leaves Anchorage at 3:00pm and arrives in Talkeetna at 5:30pm. (Visit website for the schedule to other AK destinations.)

Train

Alaska Railroad

Taking the train is the most scenic way travel from Anchorage. Unfortunately, the train stops running after Memorial Day, so this would only be an option for those coming up to AK early.
