The wedding and most other planned events will take place at Podere La Specola, a gorgeous family-owned property consisting of three villas. The main villa is a farmhouse that dates all the way back to 1300. The property is located in the heart of the Tuscan valleys, between the slopes of the Chianti hills in a medieval town called Figline Valdarno, located in the province of Florence. The earliest history related to Figline Valdarno dates back to the XI century. Noticeable sites include the churches of Santa Maria and S. Francesco and the town square, Marsilio Ficino Square, dedicated to the philosopher and astrologer Marsilio Ficino who was born in Figline and lived in the original farmhouse of Podere La Specola. 

Feel free to explore the town in your free time, and as a group, we will get to experience some of Chianti's own wine in a guided wine tasting.
