We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Ladies, please wear mid-length or floor-length dresses. Gentlemen, please wear a suit. The wedding ceremony will be in the lawn so choose footwear accordingly.
Yes! If you don't have a passport or yours expires with 6 months of your return date, please apply for a new one or a renewal ASAP.
ETIAS is a travel authorization that will be required for anyone travelling to certain European countries, including Italy. There is a small cost of 7 euros to apply, and the application process should take around 15-20 minutes. The system to apply is not live yet, but should be in mid-2025. Please plan to apply at least a month before you travel.
We recommend booking your flights six months or more in advance.
Wedding week festivities will kick off on Wednesday, September 24th. We would love to see you at the welcome party, but if you cannot make it, we just ask that you plan to arrive no later than the evening of Thursday, September 25th in case of flight delays. Flights will likely be overnight, so if you plan to arrive on Wednesday, September 24th, you should fly from the U.S. on Tuesday, September 23rd.
We have rooms blocked off at two locations, Villa il Castellaccio and Podere Giusti. See the Accommodation/Travel tab for more information on the types of units in each place. More information on pricing and how to book through us will be added to that tab soon.
As this is an intimate event, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus-one, they will appear on your invite as well as when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
We will provide transportation to and from all of the planned events. Otherwise, you can take a taxi to get around town, and there is a train station nearby if you plan on travelling to other cities before or after the wedding.
Weather provided, all wedding day events as well as the welcome party will be held outside. Weather in Florence in late September is typically warm during the days (low 80s) with mild nights (low 60s), so please pack a sweater or light jacket for the evening as it begins to cool off.
