Grayton Beach State Park
Grayton Beach State Park has a little bit of everything—there’s a 4.5-mile hiking and biking trail, a shorter 1-mile nature trail, camping, a beautiful white-sand beach, and even kayak and canoe rentals. Just a heads-up: it’s about $5 per car for a day pass.
Seaside
Wander the cute streets of Seaside and pop into the shops, grab something from the food trucks, and try one of the beachfront restaurants. It’s the heart of 30A and such a fun spot to explore.
HarborWalk Village
A lively waterfront village with tons of entertainment, shopping, great restaurants and even boating excursions right in the heart of Destin. Pro tip: head to Harry T’s Lighthouse for an amazing sunset over the harbor and some really good seafood.
The Village of Baytowne Wharf
Sitting right on the Choctawhatchee Bay, The Village of Baytowne Wharf has tons of cute boutiques, great places to eat, galleries, and plenty of nightlife.
Crab Island
Crab Island is this super fun, waist-deep sandbar in Destin with crystal-clear emerald water and a totally festive vibe—you can only get there by boat or jet ski. On busy days, hundreds of boats anchor up and people swim, paddleboard, play volleyball and grab food and drinks from the floating vendors. You can rent a boat or jet ski, book a captained charter or hop on a public tour to get out there.
Destin Commons
Destin Commons is such an easy spot to spend an afternoon—you’ve got tons of shopping, great restaurants and fun extras like the aquatic-themed bowling alley, colorful murals and plenty of space to just chill on the lawn.
