How much will this cost?

Answer

The primary expense will be the plane ticket. Ranging from $500 - $800. The sooner you do the better! (to ensure a reasonable cost). We tried to get a discount rate, but it has to be a big enough group with the same flight dates and times. Lodging will be about $70- $90 a night. Since it is relatively inexpensive due to the currency difference food may range around $200, activities and souvenirs $100-$300, to give you an idea. We are just happy you are willing to travel out of the country for our big day. It is also going to be a beautiful, once in a lifetime experience!

By July 1st. Ideally the sooner the better.

What is the currency in Guatemala?

Answer

Guatemala's currency is in "Quetzal". One US dollar equals about seven to eight quetzals. There is a currency exchange at the airport or ATMs are available throughout places. It is more convenient to use cash than a card.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Yes, there is transportation being coordinated. It is close to each other as well.
