When should I RSVP by?

We ask that all RSVPs are sent by August 30th, 2026.

Question

How do we dress for a Georgia autumn weekend?

Answer

Georgia autumns are warm days and *slightly* chilly nights. The average daytime temp is mid-70's and nighttime temps are mid-50's. For all events, we recommend dressing in light layers and for the evening events (including the ceremony) we recommend bringing a light dress coat or sweater for an extra layer.

How do we get around town?

Answer

Renting a car is suggested, but not required! For those without vehicles, we'll provide shuttle service from Atlanta airport to downtown Macon on Thursday with return service on Sunday. We'll also have shuttles from Macon to the Green Family properties for Friday and Saturday events. More details and sign-ups will come out as we get closer. For those with vehicles, metered parking and paid lots are available around Macon. Hotel Forty Five does not have onsite parking, but does offer valet service for $30 a day. Longleaf Distillery, The Social Duck, and Fall Line Station are all within a ten minute walk of Hotel Forty Five. (As is most of downtown Macon!)

Can I stay somewhere other than Hotel Forty Five?

Answer

Absolutely! We love Hotel Forty Five, but realize it may not be the right choice for everyone. For a list of places in and around Macon, visit visitmacon.org/hotels Feel free to book any accommodations you wish, but do note that our shuttle service will be picking up and dropping off in downtown Macon only and will not be available for those staying outside of the downtown area.

Will you be offended if I have to cancel my RSVP because I got offered a sweet sweet gig I can't refuse?

Answer

Of course not! We know how the industry works, and although we'll miss you, we understand. (It better be a sweet gig though!)
