Let's get the weekend started at one of our favorite spots in Macon! You're welcome to stay for as little or as long as you wish. Feel free to enjoy the cozy atmosphere inside or relax on the outdoor patio. Light dinner and drinks will be served.

Picnic & Paddle

11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join us for brunch, music, games, and kayaking! What you choose to do is up to you: eat good ole' Georgia BBQ on the historic property, play a few retro lawn games, or sign-up for a relaxed kayaking adventure down the river, compliments of Ocmulgee Outdoor Expeditions. This event is outdoors on grass, dirt, and gravel. Sunscreen, hats, and casual dress are recommended. Shuttle service to and from downtown Macon will be available for those without vehicles. Kayaking Details: Led by Ocmulgee Outdoor Expeditions, this 45-minute kayak trip winds its way down the gentle Ocmulgee River. It's a perfect excursion for beginners and families. Kayaks, life jackets, and return bus service are all provided. The trip starts at the Green property and includes a 10-minute hike to the river. The hike features some rocky terrain, so bring good shoes! RSVP required.

Wedding Ceremony & Pre-Ceremony Refreshments

4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Join us for the main event! Drinks and light snacks will be offered in the hour before the ceremony. Be sure to give yourselves time to enjoy the Greens' beautiful lakefront property before the ceremony starts. Our ceremony is semi-fancy; no black-tie attire required. Please feel free to use our color palette when choosing your outfits: jewel tones and bright autumn colors will make for gorgeous photos. Immediately following the ceremony we will travel to downtown Macon and continue the celebration at our reception venue. Shuttle service to and from Macon will be provided for those without vehicles.
