Matron of Honor
Ginger met Ruth in clay class in Jr High. They put on a sock puppet performance of "Who's on First" in the park for their homeschool group, and have been friends ever since. Ruth is the kind of friend who would read you a Star Wars book over the phone when you are grounded, and you simply must hang on to those kinds of friends forever.
Best Man
Brian is Chris's older brother. Growing up they did a lot together, especially during breaks from school. Activities included everything from video games and bowling to trips to the mall for Magic cards. Whether it was for advice, abrupt wake up alarms, or destroying Legos ... Brian has always been there for Chris.
Bridesmaid
Hannah and Ginger met through a bizarre mutual errand they were asked to run for Lou Ferrigno, (yes, that one) and things only got weirder from there. They spent several years in space together and will forever know entirely too much about 1960s Star Trek. They mutually retired from space to become garden gnomes and cozy cat ladies in their respective states, and that has been just as much fun, honestly.
Groomsman
Alan and Chris met in kindergarten and have been friends ever since. Going through elementary and high school together, they enjoyed plenty of grilled cheese at Chris's house or WoW at Alan's house. Even after all these years and living many states apart at times, they still make time to keep up with one another and stay close.
Bridesmaid
Ginger met Crystal working on a TV show that proved that together they could put up with anything, so they became roommates! They spent four wonderful years together in Atlanta. In a fun twist of fate, now they are Jersey/Pennsylvania state neighbors! Which is great because without Crystal's mad kitchen skills we'd all be in strawberry rhubarb pie withdrawal, and that would be unacceptable.
Groomsman
Jeff and Chris met while attending St. Joseph's High School. They went on to attend Villanova University together. Getting up to plenty of shenanigans, they always made sure to watch out for each other while having a great time. As life continues to get busy, they still make time for each other to this day.
Bridesmaid
Hiba and Ginger went to fashion school together, where they spent entirely too many all-nighters in the studio when they should have been sleeping. They share a deep love of creating, animals, haunted houses, glitter, and very specific roller coasters. They have since collaborated on many fantastic projects, including this wedding! Which is obviously the best one. (Take that, BBC!)
Groomsman
Matt and Chris are cousins. Being close in age, they got to spend plenty of time hanging out during family events and more. Now that they live nearby, they take advantage of opportunities to meet up, never skipping a chance to discuss the pros of house boat ownership.
Bridesmaid
Michelle taught Ginger basically everything worth learning at IADT during her time at the fashion program, but probably only a 10th of what she knows, because she is a drafting genius. Since then they have been making costumes together every chance they get, which has been a lot of chances. Their favorite tradition is an annual pilgrimage to Atlanta for Dragon Con, now going strong for well over a decade. They've been elves, fairies, secretaries, zombie princesses, lieutenants, dragoons, shinigami, mages, and so much more! Being in a wedding together will actually be a nice relaxing change of pace. Practical shoes for once?! Yes please.
Groomsman
Randy and Chris met while playing WoW online during their college years. For more than 15 years and in spite of never living in the same state, they've remained friends through playing various games together online. Randy even introduced Ginger to Chris through their ongoing DnD campaigns.
Flower Girl
Summer is Chris's niece. She was one of the first people to know that Ginger and Chris would end up getting married. She also possesses all the necessary dance moves to stylishly accomplish her job as flower girl.
Ring Bearer
Troy is Chris's nephew. He always has something important to ask or say of Ginger and Chris during our family Disney trips. He also knows Jujitsu and will use those skills to safeguard the rings during the ceremony.
Officiant
Rebecca is Ginger's cousin. They grew up on Disney movies, orange soda, peppermint sticks, and rum cake at Grandmom's house. One of their favorite things was playing dress-up together, and sometimes they still get to! We are both looking forward to having a dear family member lead the ceremonies on our special day.
