For those staying in Langley, the Braeburn is an excellent breakfast spot, It's also one of the first locations Gina and Zach visited when scoping out Fireseed for our wedding venue. The Braeburn is known for its BREAKFAST BREAD PUDDING VANILLA SAUCE and CORNED BEEF MASH. Comfort food at its best!
This fun shop does everything chocolate from cosmos flowers and gift boxes to infused teas and body products. Zach and Gina both agree they have best chocolate fudge in town (you can also get peanut butter, caramel, or mint flavors too). Life is better with CHOCOLATE!
This old firehouse has been transformed into a glassworks shop and offers beautiful hand-blown glasswork and gifts. You can even make your own glass tumbler or watch the craftsmen shape the glass. Outside of the gallery, you may spy some of the rabbits Langley is famous for hopping about.
This eclectic restaurant/shop is owned by a couple from German and Japanese roots. The fermented creations they offer are so unique. Ask for the Kimchi Bloody Mary Brine – it’s so refreshing and has got a nice kick to it!
This coffee joint serves up great coffee and delicious baked goods. Get ‘em quick while they’re hot!
Enjoy a good read and a nice cup of tea. Located right across the street from the Firehouse Glass Gallery.
This extensive shop offers an amazing array of imported goods from Middle Eastern and Asian countries including Mongolia, Tibet, and Nepal. Zach bought some warm Nepali slippers here!
Langley has a lot more to offer! Check out the variety of goods at the Star Store Mercantile. Scan the water for visiting whales (yes – whales!) and ring the bell if you see one. Wander along the beach in Seawall Park and look for sea glass. Try out musical instruments at Blue Sound Music. Find out more about the Orca Network at the Langley Whale Center.
