Yes. Fireseed is located on Whidbey Island. The ferry is the quickest, most direct route there. If you are staying on the mainland, it will require taking the Mukilteo to Clinton Ferry across. The ferry ride is tolled. Please check the following link to view ferry fees, schedules, and procedure to ride. Ferry fees will vary according to the number of passengers in the vehicle and throughout the time of year. Please factor in wait time in ferry lines to plan your arrival time. You can find boarding information here: http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/
The attire is semi-formal, however, we suggest you dress comfortably and warm as the ceremony will take place outdoors. In October in Washington, it is common for the forecast to include rain and temperatures ranging from 60F high to a low of 48F. less. If the weather is not cooperative, we will move the ceremony indoors, so dress in layers. Also, feel free to wear comfortable shoes for walking or dancing.
Fireseed includes flower gardens, organic vegetable gardens, wooded forest, and a footpath down to a private lake, all with 10 acres of beautiful views. Feel free to stroll about and take plenty of photos or play outdoor games such as Cornhole and lawn bolo/Ladder Toss.
If you use your own camera, please check with Aya Sato, our wedding photographer before taking any photos of her formal arrangements of the bride and groom and wedding party. You may take photos before or after the wedding, however we respectfully ask you to NOT take any cellphone photos or selfies during the Ceremony. If you'd like a copy of the photos taken during the ceremony please send an email or text to Gina. [425-582-3294] [martzkewedding19@gmail.com]
