The closest airport to fly into is Portland International (PDX). The wedding venue is 45 minutes East of the airport. Renting a car at the airport is recommended for out of town guests. There are also several airport hotels that may be convenient for travelers who are visiting for a short stay and want to stay closer to Portland.

This hotel is eight minutes from the venue! It is a great option if you want to be close to the venue but still have easy access to shopping and more restaurants. The hotel has an indoor pool and free breakfast. You can also use ride share options to get around from this hotel if you do not rent a car. Shuttle service: For guests requiring transportation assistance to and from the wedding venue, we will have shuttle service to and from Best Western Sandy Inn only. This hotel is located ~20 minutes East of the venue and is closer to Mt. Hood. The resort has an outdoor pool, spa, restaurant, golf course, and fitness center. It is located 3 minutes from the welcome party venue (on 7/18). There are also several hiking trails nearby along the Old Salmon River. This hotel is recommended for guests who will have a car and want more of a wooded, forest-setting experience. It is more of a "destination" than the other hotel option. Please be aware that ride shares (Uber, Lyft) are not a good option in this area unless you schedule a ride ahead of time. The bride, groom, wedding party and immediate family will be staying at this resort or within the Mt. Hood Village area. There are numerous Airbnb and VRBO houses located in the area available to rent and might be the best option if you plan to stay for several days. We recommend staying between Sandy and Zigzag for the easiest commute to the venue. Many of the immediate family members and wedding party guests will be staying in the Mt. Hood Village area.
