Our StoryOur Story
Stephanie and Paul met in April, 2016 on a ski trip to Mt. Bachelor in Bend, Oregon. Stephanie was living in Baltimore, MD at the time for graduate school. She got a phone call from her good college friend, Eric (Paul's best friend), inviting her to a group ski trip out in Oregon. Stephanie almost didn't go but decided at the last minute it sounded too fun to pass up, so she booked a flight. Eric informed her that his best friend, Paul, would be picking her up at the airport with her friends and would drive them to the destination. Stephanie was immediately smitten by Paul's charm and smarts, and she assumed he wanted nothing to do with her, only to later find out he was just being shy. Their first date was in British Columbia! The two started meeting up all around the world: Outer Banks, Belize, Thailand, and Oregon. Stephanie decided to move out west in 2019, and the rest is history. They currently live in Portland on a floating home with their two cats, Rollo and Ragnar.

Paul proposed 9/1/24 at Floras Lake, Oregon. We hiked along the beach to a cliffside waterfall, and he popped the question while Stephanie was looking for agates in the sand!
