Take the 30 minute scenic drive down Oak Creek Canyon (89A) to Sedona to go explore the infamous Sedona red rocks! Once you are there, we recommend hiking West Fork Trail which is right off the 89A as you enter Oak Creek Canyon! We are happy to recommend places in Sedona, just ask! Fun fact: The wedding venue is just off the 89A as you head north into Flagstaff! We also took our engagement photos at West Fork Trail.
The south rim of the Grand Canyon is less than a 2 hour drive from Flagstaff! You don’t have to be as crazy as we are and hike rim to rim but we definitely recommend taking a small hike that takes you below the rim. Just remember whatever goes down, must come up!

This is a beautiful hike in Flagstaff! If you take the lookout trail all the way to the top of Mt. Elden, it’s about 5.3 Miles, it doesn’t seem like a lot but you gain a lot of elevation fast so just be prepared, but the view is worth it! There is also a trail called Fat Man’s Loop from the same trailhead that is much more moderate.
This is another beautiful hike in Flagstaff! It’s an easy trail that goes on for 14 miles but you can choose how far you wish to hike and then turn back!
This is a cool hike in Flagstaff that has a small waterfall and petroglyphs! It’s about a 3-mile, relatively flat hike.
Lake Mary is a lake in Flagstaff that is surrounded by pine trees. It is a beautiful spot to just go hangout or you can even rent kayaks! Upper Lake Mary is the best area to be in.
