National Museum of African American History and Culture

This is where Gibbs proposed to Dorothy! If you haven't been to this historical and cultural interactive museum, it's a must visit place in DC. Free timed passes are required. There are four levels of African American culture focused on stories, scholarship, art, and artifacts. Chuck Berry's red Cadillac, Parliament-Funkadelic's Starship, Emmett Till's coffin, and artifacts from slavery are must-see items.
